Behavioural
Support

Empowering individuals with tailored PBS plans to achieve positive outcomes.

Positive Behaviour Support

At Liberty Behavioural Services, we provide Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) that’s practical, person-centred, and built on respect. PBS is an evidence-based approach to understanding and responding to behaviours of concern. Rather than focusing on “managing” behaviour, we aim to understand the reasons behind it so we can help people build meaningful skills, reduce distress, and improve quality of life.

We support individuals of all ages including older children, teens, and adults of all ages across a range of needs and settings. Our Behaviour Support Practitioners work in partnership with families, carers, schools, support staff, and allied health professionals to create tailored behaviour support plans that are positive, proactive, and goal-focused.

Our plans are always:

  • Aligned with NDIS Practice Standards
  • Designed to reduce or eliminate restrictive practices
  • Focused on long-term wellbeing, not short-term fixes
  • Flexible and regularly reviewed to meet changing needs

Whether we’re supporting someone with autism, intellectual disability, psychosocial disability, or dementia, our PBS approach is about dignity, choice, and achieving the best possible outcomes for participants.
